Join us for the Cressy Chaff Cutters Longford Cup on New Years Day at the Longford Racecourse for a picnic day of racing and entertainment

The Longford Cup is an annual tradition that has been held since 1845, the Cup remains a major event on the Tasmanian racing calendar to this day. The New Year’s Day event provides a chance for serious punters and family groups alike to spend the public holiday under the glorious Northern Midlands sunshine.

Sit back and relax with live entertainment, food and beverage stalls, City of Launceston’s RSL Pipes & Drums, join in Kachoo Fashions on the Field to win some great prizes.  Bring the children along and they can enter the childrens fashions on the field and enjoy free pony rides and face painting.

Tickets are $27 for adults and $22 for pensioners (pensioners will be required to present pension card at the gate) (children under 16 accomanied by an adult are free) Please note there will be online ticket sales only, no ticket sales on the day.

Jacks Bus Service

Leave the car at home and hop on Jacks Bus leaving from QVMAG Inveresk Car Park (Invermay Road side) at 11.30am and returning half hour after the last race.  Cost $40pp including an entry ticket.  Bookings Essential via phoning 03 63261070 or emailing admin@turfclubtas.com

Come and enjoy a stress-free day in the corporate marquee tickets are $150pp includes entry to the track, Prime track viewing, A Gourmet BBQ, Beer, Wine, Champagne & soft drink.
