Ladbrokes Hobart Cup is the feature of the Tasmanian Summer Racing Festival in Hobart. This is one of Tasmania’s and Australia’s oldest traditions, so make sure you add it to your 2024 events calendar.
The best thoroughbreds from around Tasmania come together at Ladbrokes Park Elwick in Hobart to battle it out and cement their names in racing history.
We celebrate the elite Thoroughbreds of Tasmanian Racing, the fashion and glamour, the colour and excitement, the food and entertainment.

The Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Luncheon is situated on the upper level of the main grandstand behind the glass, this dining experience will set the scene for an outstanding race day. The Terrace View Restaurant offers spectacular views of the winning post and is the perfect venue to dine with friends and family or entertain corporate clients.

The perfect place for the avid punter with views of the home straight to watch the elite horses of Tasmanian Racing fight it out for the ultimate win.
Hosted by Richard “Bear” Robinson. You will enjoy the day in your own private marquee with all day cocktail style menu and grazing table by Olive Tree, entertainment and guest speakers.

Ledger Village
The Leger Village is an exclusive area where you can entertain your friends and business colleagues on your very own grassed area.
Directly overlooking the home straight, the Leger Village is the perfect place to view the horses up close as they head for the winning post.
You can erect your own marquee, bring your own food and drinks, and watch the horses thunder down the home straight on Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Day.
Within the Leger Village, you’ll enjoy a taste of privacy in a relaxed setting, yet miss none of the unique atmosphere.
Ticket Price: $1800 – $2000
Single Leger site includes:
- 6m x 4m private grassed site
- 12 Leger Admissions
Double Leger site includes:
- 6m x 8m private grassed site
- 24 Leger Admissions
There is no need to purchase General Admission as your Leger Admission will allow you access through the gate and into the Leger Village.
