There is no better place to experience the thrill of greyhound racing than at the Hobart Greyhound Racing Club (HGRC) located in Goodwood.
Pack a picnic and head to the lawn with your family and friends to feel the real excitement of greyhound racing.
Or for a bird’s eye view in the comfort of inside the club, head upstairs to enjoy the HGRC’s bar and buffet.
The club is fully equipped with screens at each table streaming live vision of all the action so you can get an even closer look at the action from without having to move from your table.
There are also on-course betting facilities.

The Track
The Hobart Greyhound Racing Club is located at Elwick, a tri code facility in Glenorchy, which is located approximately 10 kilometres from Hobart, Tasmania’s capital city. Our administration offices are located on the second level of the grandstand complex.
Facilities
The public facilities and viewing from our outstanding complex offers guests everything needed for a great night of racing. The tiered section of the grandstand has tables seating six, with each table having access to their own individual television monitor. Our ‘Dishlickers’ restaurant offers a superb variety of meals as well as a large selection of snacks, along with full bar facilities. Sky Channel and Tab operate on all race meetings, while video replays run continuously.
