GEE GEE SECONDOVER has emerged as one of the three-year-olds to watch during the Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival.
The Leon Wells-trained gelding was one of last season’s better-performed two-year-olds finishing second three times to the state’s best juvenile Mystic Journey.
But he has matured and developed into a superb athlete, evidenced by his impressive wins at his first two outings as a three-year-old.
Wells has targeted the 3YO Cup and Tasmanian Guineas as his two main missions but has not discounted a Tasmanian Derby as his final target.
Heading into the 3YO Cup he has raced seven times for three wins and four minor placings.
