The best thoroughbreds from around Tasmania gather at Ladbrokes Park Elwick in Hobart and battle it out in the listed Tasmanian Derby and the group 3 Kevin Sharkie Mystic Journey Stakes.

After the last get your live music fix with Isaac Westwood playing in the Crown Lager Bar.

Kevin Sharkie Tasmanian Stakes Day
Kick off the long weekend
Grab your family and friends and take advantage of free gate entry, feature racing, sunshine and live entertainment! Settle in behind the glass in the Terrace View Restaurant or enjoy the sunshine on the front lawn. Get up and close with the horses while they battle it out in the 125k Kevin Sharkie WFA Tasmanian stakes over 1600m and the 50k Brighton Cup over 2100m.
After the races head to the Crown Lager Bar on the lower level of the venue for an evening of live entertainment by Tim Hibbered.
